PhD Student Initiative

The PhD Student Initiative is planned to support at least 20 PhD students from universities worldwide who wish to participate in the conference.

The main goal of the Initiative is to support doctoral candidates in radiofrequency and microwave technologies for biomedical applications and to expose them to conference content that may inspire them to produce high-quality research work and specialize in this field.

The awards will cover the conference registration fees.

 

Please note the following eligibility conditions:

 

    ♦    All applicants must be IEEE MTT-S Student Members at the time of the application;

    ♦   All applicants must send an application form (which will be posted soon) to all the Initiative;

    ♦   Organizers together with a recommendation letter by their supervisor by the tentative date of 10th of March 2026 (TBC);

    ♦   Past PhD students awarded with the IMBioC PhD Student Initiative are not eligible;

    ♦   The recipients of MTT-S Fellowships/Scholarships are not eligible;

    ♦   Successful applicants are expected to be present in person at the IMBioC 2026 conference;

    ♦   It is not mandatory for the recipient to present a paper;

    ♦   The winners of the PhD Student Initiative will also be asked to volunteer as student helpers during the conference.
